And you thought your city roads are congested…

Complaining of narrow, congested roads of your city? Have a look to gallery below showing the roads of one of the oldest holy city Varanasi (Banaras), of India. The drain pipe occupies most of the road which is already narrow.

The first thought we had while we saw this was- ‘It cannot be permanent, this must be temporary’. But to our surprise we found it to be nicely welded.

The other surprising thing was all the mirrors of the bikes and autos were always inward (have a look to the picture of the auto below).

But the ghats, the sunrise and sunset at Varanasi (Banaras), the Ganga Aarti (prayer of Goddess River Ganga) in the evening makes one forget all this chaos and makes Varanasi experience unique and worth visiting. Have a glimpse of enchanting Ganga Aarti in the video below –
